August is upon us and that means time for preschool preparations!
The Preschool WILL open as planned beginning on September 8th. We will open with a Covid-19 Child Care Plan in place. The Covid-19 plan includes the following procedures (on top of all procedures previously required):
-Staff will practice every day preventative measures.
-Signage will be posted as recommended by DPH.
-All staff will wear cloth face coverings.
-Any incident of Covid-19 will be reported to DPH who will then discuss steps for cleaning and/or closure.
-Arrival and drop off procedures have been changed to greet students outside of our facility.
-Daily screening practices to include temperature checks will take place.
- We will adhere to smaller class sizes to facilitate social distancing.
-Groups will remain separated within the preschool.
-The use of outside contractors will be suspended.
- Increased sanitization and cleaning methods are in place.
We encourage all families to assess their own level of risk. Staff members and parents of at-risk children are asked to contact the administrator.
