The school picture will be a full length shot of the child so you will see the whole outfit...shoes and all! 

School pictures are optional.  Please be sure to send payment with your envelope by picture day.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Our RADA Cutlery fundraiser ends this week.  Please be sure to turn in all orders with payment by Wednesday, Sept. 23.  Checks should be made payable to St. John's Preschool.

I will be placing the order with the company on Thursday.  Thanks, in advance, for those families who are participating in the new fundraiser!  We are hoping it is successful and gives us funds to supplement our school budget.

On Monday and Tuesday of next week I will be holding a brief training session for anyone interested in helping out at preschool this year.  This training will probably be about 15 minutes long and will be held in the church library which is adjacent to Mrs. McFarland's classroom.  The training schedule is as follows:
Monday, Sept. 14:  9:15 and 12:15
Tuesday, Sept. 15:  9:15

If you are a working parent and are not able to attend the training but would like to volunteer during the year, please email me and let me know.  You can find the volunteer packet on the website to download at home and return to preschool.  (There was a glitch in the download, but I think I have it fixed now.)

Our first week of preschool has concluded and things went very well!  We had very few tears and lots and lots of smiles!  I was so proud of how well the children adjusted to being in school and am looking forward to a great school year!  

Please remember to turn in all necessary paperwork as soon as possible...especially your child's most recent health appraisal.  Also, if you have not yet turned in your September tuition payment, please do so at this time.  A $10.00 late fee now applies.  Thank you so much for all you did to assure that we had a great first week!

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for Parent Night! It was such a great way to start our school year!! We are looking forward to greeting all the children on Tuesday!!

If you weren't able to attend Parent Night, please be sure to pick up the paperwork that you missed. All children must have a yellow emergency card on file no later than Wednesday at drop off time. Also, if you haven't already turned in your September tuition, please do so on Tuesday morning.

The time has come and we are so excited to meet everyone to start our new school year!  Please remember that our Preschool Parent Night is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3, beginning at 6:00 pm in the Church Sanctuary!  We will spend about 30 minutes in the sanctuary and then head to the classrooms.  We can't wait to see you!
