St John’s Preschool will operate on a delayed opening today. All classes will begin at 10:00 am due to foggy conditions. Dismissal will be at 12:00 noon for all classes except for Exr Day Pee-K which will dismiss at 1:30 pm. Thank you and have a safe drive to school.

In-House Registration for the 2018-2019 School Year
We are looking forward to spending another great year with your child!  I wanted to take a few moments to explain our upcoming registration procedures.  If after reading this you have any questions, please feel free to stop by my office and speak with me.

Tuesday, February 20
Preregistration for parents with two or more children only, in concurrent classes
*Students repeating pre-kindergarten at St. John’s Preschool may be granted permission to re-register on this day with special circumstances.  Please see Jody Bee for questions.*
Registration will be held between the hours of 9:00 a.m.-1.00 p.m.
 
Wednesday, February 21
In-house registration begins following the guidelines below.
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
 
In-House Registration Guidelines
 
Families presently enrolled in the preschool will be given the opportunity to register prior to public registration.  A non-refundable registration fee of $70.00 is due at the time of registration.
 
In order to allow parents to have siblings enrolled in concurrent classes, parents with two or more children may enroll one school day prior to in-house registration.  This date will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018.  If parents fail to register on this day, they will not be guaranteed that their children will be in concurrent classes.
 
Important Information Below…
 
In-house registration will begin on Wednesday, February 21, and slots will be filled on a first-come/first-serve basis.  All children presently enrolled at St. John’s Preschool are guaranteed placement for the 2018-2019 school year if they register prior to public registration.  However, students enrolling in the pre-kindergarten program will need to choose between a traditional and an extended day placement.  The hours of the traditional pre-kindergarten day will be 9:00-11:30.  The hours of the extended pre-kindergarten day will be 9:00-1:00.  On registration day, the doors to the preschool will open at 8:00 a.m. with numbers being assigned at this time.  Registration will begin promptly after numbers have been assigned.  A waiting list will begin for families who did not receive the type of pre-kindergarten spot they desired but still wish to have.  At this time, we will accept 20 students in the traditional pre-k class and 20 students in the extended pre-k class. 
Note:  All classes will be offered continent on enrollment that allows us to meet our operating budget.

 
Each family must register their own family members.  Other parents may not register for other children in the preschool.
The preschool accepts no responsibility for the “waiting process/procedures” established in the parking lot by preschool families for registration prior to numbers being handed out at 8:00 am.

Our Pre-K Olympics will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2018!  We hope parents can join us for the fun!  Here are the specifics:

Mrs. Galaska's Class- The fun begins at 9:30.
Mrs. Murphy's Class-The fun begins at 11:00.
