Costume Day @ Preschool: October 27, 2022
This year we are excited to again have a "costume dress-up day" at St. John's Preschool. We are really looking forward to seeing the children all dressed up! The children will be trick-or-treating around the school.
Costume Guidelines
In regards to costumes, please be sensitive to the fact that we are a Christian preschool and we serve very small children. The children need to come to school dressed in age-appropriate costumes. We are asking that you do not allow your child to wear a scary costume, such as a witch, monster, wicked jester, grim reaper, zombie, vampire, Dracula, or costumes similar in nature. If you are unsure if your child's costume is appropriate for preschool, please ask. Also, the children will be wearing their costumes to school. The teachers will not be doing anything "messy" that day to be sure to keep the costumes in great condition. If your child has a mask as part of their costume, please just send it to school that day because it will be very uncomfortable to wear all day long.
Parents, we would love for you to join in on the costume fun too, but ask that you refrain from wearing a mask of any sort. For safety reasons, we need to be able to recognize any adult who is in the building during preschool hours and the children will be more comfortable if they can recognize you too!
We cannot wait to see our adorable preschoolers all dressed up to celebrate fall! We can't wait to see some Disney characters like Elsa, Olaf, Buzz or Woody, a superhero or Star Wars character, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Strawberry Shortcake, Minnie or Mickey, a firefighter, soldier, or mermaid! We are looking forward to a festive and fun day!
