During the month of December we are going to fill our Wishing Well with items that will help those that are less fortunate than us. We will be collecting the following items:

Mittens or Gloves
Hats
Scarves
Socks

Plates (styrofoam, plastic or paper)
Cups (styrofoam, plastic or paper)
Plastic Cutlery
Napkins
Paper Towels

Bags of Sugar 

Sleeping Bags
Flashlights

These items will be donated to the following organizations:  ACE Center in Seaford (located across from Davelli's) and Students in Transition (the homeless in our community).  We ask that the items be new.  Items can be for men, women and children!  

Please help us fill our Wishing Well and help others who are in need during this cold winter season.  Thank you!!

Our pottery is ready and will be distributed on Monday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 1st.  It is breakable so be sure to pick it up when you drop your child at preschool on their first day back following vacation to ensure it makes it home safely!  Thank you!!

I hope everyone is enjoying a great Thanksgiving vacation!  I have had a busy one so far, but I am enjoying it!  I wanted to take a moment to tell each of you how thankful I am to serve as the Preschool Administrator at St. John's Preschool.  I am so blessed to work with so many adorable children and get to know and interact with all of our amazing preschool families each and every day.  So, this year on Thanksgiving Day I will most definitely count you all as blessings. Thank you for all your support of the preschool and of me! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!!

Once preschool begins on November 30th we will definitely be in Christmas mode and I know we will have a magical month of Christmas!   It will be a busy month, but a great one!  A big THANKS to Nicole Lane, Teresa Stewart, Jenn Donati, Andrea Snider and Stephanie Holland for decorating our preschool tree at Grotto's in Seaford!  The theme is Noah's Ark and all the ornaments were made by the children.  Our charity is the Pegeen and Samantha Brown Pediatric Fund at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.  Be sure to pop into Grotto's during the holiday season and check out our adorable tree!!

Thursday, November 5th, is the last day to buy auction tickets before the price goes up!  So, be sure to get your tickets ASAP! Also, childcare will be available, but it will be limited to 20 children in each room. So, be sure to turn in your ticket order form with your payment indicating that you are planning on using childcare.  A huge thanks to Megan Stover and Miss Tina for volunteering to do childcare!  We still need one more volunteer from 7:15 to 8:00 if anyone is available.  We have well over 200 silent auction items, plus 20 great live auction items.  So, please plan to attend!  Check out all the items we are auctioning off on the "What's Up For Auction" tab!
