Our three year old friends are learning all about winter and it's been a great time to explore this unit with snow in the forecast. Our class is progressing through their alphabet and gaining confidence in themselves. We will host parent conferences at the end of the month and talk about each child's individual progress. Families should be thinking about their plan for pre-k next year and sharing that with their child's teachers.
Our class has been so busy this month! The days have passed quickly and it's hard to believe we are looking into October already. Our class is growing in the areas of social/emotional development, language & literacy, discoveries through sensory, spacial awareness, memory, cause & effect, attention, persistence, curiosity and problem solving. They are having daily experiences in physical development and Christian Education. Our class enjoyed a teddy bear picnic last week and this week we will transition into fall themes to include apples and pumpkins.
Let's color the world with happiness in preschool this year! We are excited to start a great, new year because you are God's masterpiece and we're thankful to have you here. Be the most brilliant color in the box and shine in our room this year.
I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week we will be introducing the letter U for unicorns! We will be talking about what unicorns are, listening to some fun unicorn songs, cutting with scissors, writing our names and so much more!
Just a reminder, we will continue to go outside as long as the weather allows. Please remember to bring proper outer wear every day. With Thanksgiving behind us, we are gearing up for the joys of the Christmas season! Students are learning this week about Jesus as the one TRUE reason for the season.
