Rooms are painted. Floors are waxed. New staff are hired and more are being hired. It's been a whirlwind summer but we are gearing up for a great fall! Back to school letters are mailing out today! We are excited to start a new chapter with you. Parent Night is Aug. 18th. We will see you then!
My apologies! I didn't save the changes to the website and just realized that I had not uploaded the new registration packet or updated the registration info. Here is the packet for the school year beginning in September.
If you are considering St. John's Preschool for your child next year, we will be passing out tour books during the Open House. It is attached below so that you can view it ahead of time. The tour booklet is a great source of info. If you have questions, call the preschool office at 302-629-2289 or email Rae Murphy at stjohnspreschool123@gmail.com.
At this time, the preschool is planning to host an Open House with tours for families interested in registering for the 2022-2023 school year. Open House will be February 17th from 10-12:00. If the covid situation in the community worsens, this event may change. All visitors to the preschool are required to wear a mask. Registration packets will be available for printing here on the website at the beginning of February. Check back soon!
Thursday, February 17: Open House for Tours
Tuesday, February 22: In-House Registration for families currently enrolled at preschool Tuesday, March 1: Public Registration begins December is a whirlwind month at preschool. The days pass by far too quickly and there never seems to be enough time to complete all of the amazing projects our teachers plan for our families. With pageants and programs, it's hard not to be filled with the Spirit of Christmas. Classes are participating in a pajama day before we close out the 2021 year here at SJP.
The preschool will be closed from December 20-January 2. We hope you have a holiday filled with blessings and joy. November is a short month. We have off for Veteran's Day (thank you, Vets, for your service to our nation) and a nice, long break for Thanksgiving. Our preschoolers are collecting coats, jackets and clothing items for the Thrift Shop in conjunction with Feeding the Thousands. We also are collecting items for the classroom Operation Christmas Child boxes. By participating in missions projects, we hope to grow our hearts for service to others while we act as the hands and feet of Jesus. Share the joys and acts of doing for others with your child by letting him/her choose items for the shoe boxes or gather items to donate. Explain to them why they are doing it and what purpose it serves. Grow a heart for giving and doing for others.
Classes are practicing for Thanksgiving programs and will quickly shift at the end of the month to practicing for Christmas. Don't be surprised if you hear the sounds of BOTH in our hallways. Our days are limited in school and the teachers take full advantage of every minute they have to prepare for both events. |
